Abstract
In this course we shall be learning about threads in Operating System. We’ll begin by watching videos on Operating systems. You are encouraged to ensure that you have access to a reliable Internet and that your devices (computer, tablet or phone) have properly working multimedia systems. This module also presents a number of interactive and non-interactive activities. You will be required to complete all the activities.
Description
This module aims to facilitate learners to have an understanding of the fundamental concepts of threads such as creation, synchronization and termination. We shall also learn how to develop multithreaded applications using C or C++ programming languages.
