Abstract
Description
In this module you learn about the application of integration in probability. The main problem
facing every planner is uncertainty. Knowing when an an event or outcome is likely to happen
can guide the decision making process. Probabilities tell us whether the results of an
experiment are likely to be a coincidence. Random variable encodes possible outcomes of a
random selection. The probability density function(an integral) is a mathematical model for
continuous random variables.
